Without waiting for the end of the war: the Baryshivka grain company repaired the destroyed premises of the district

In the first days of the war, the village of Khreschate in Chernihiv region was subjected to large-scale artillery fire and heavy bombardment. The livestock farm, the local school, and not a single stone remained in the village center of culture. The list of those mutilated also included the premises of the district – a building where the villagers received humanitarian aid from the first days, where workers provided social services to local residents. Restore? Where to get money for such a huge project, and still in the village during the war?

• We had huge destruction in the village. According to our calculations, 47 objects were significantly damaged as a result of bombing and shelling. Generally speaking, not a single house or human dwelling escaped damage. In the premises of the district, it became simply impossible to work and provide normal services. And here, in the first days, we still organized the packaging and distribution of humanitarian aid. What was it like to work in such conditions? And we turned to the Baryshivka grain company for help.

The Baryshivka grain company undertook the entire complex of works on the restoration of the premises of the Khreshchate district. From the search for builders to the purchase of the necessary materials – everything fell on the shoulders of the enterprise and the “Baryshivka grain company” charitable foundation. As a result, only in the first month of work, the builder practically completed the restoration of four rooms of the building.
